Fun, exciting, beautiful, clean. It is not a small town and it's not a big city. Yet it has qualities of both! So many places to eat and everything so close by as well as having a quaint street to explore - Walking down Pearl Street is an event in itself, with jugglers and musicians performing! If you go to Boulder, you have to walk in the mountains. We did a beautiful hike in the flatirons starting from the Chautauqua trailhead. At the start, we got a backpack kit from the office for a trail activities which included a butterfly net and a scavenger hunt which we enjoyed doing as we walked around and explored. We also were able to explore the Chautauqua grounds, which was fun to compare with the Chautauqua Institute in western NY where we have spent lots of time and have fond memories of.
Our favorite healthy places to eat in Boulder are: Shine Restaurant We loved eating there! Such amazing and delicious food. It was a little pricey and mostly small servings but good quality. Morning Glory Farm Fresh Cafe Wow, what a great breakfast place. I wouldn't say it's the healthiest option but super awsome GF pancakes and decent prices. Ku Cha House of Tea They have the best bubble tea we've ever had! The boba/bubbles are locally made. And there were teas to samples which was where my daughter discovered her love of sweet mint tea. It was a fun place to visit!
